All right, I’ll admit it. When I hear “Amish fiction,” I get about as excited as when I hear “Christian romance.” Lovely escape reads, for the most part, but little depth. Right? Wrong on this one! Murray Pura, with his colorful, moving style, approaches this Civil War-era story from a male point of view, lending an entirely new slant on Amish involvement. I can’t encourage you enough to get your hands on this book. I guarantee that once you start it you won’t be able to put it down. Here’s a little info on it:
